IT Supporters Network
For those supporting IT in their organisations. Quarterly Networking and Training. “IT Matters” News blog and website. Regular e-newsletters. Support and signposting. Free to join up for VANEL members.
WebClub
Specifically supporting local groups with web development projects. WebClub is part of “IT Matters” blog and website. WebClub meets every two weeks for training and support. Members pay £25pa for support.

Free training sessions helping groups understand the basics of web development and support.
WordPress expertise and consultancy
WordPress is a powerful free tool to help groups get a website quickly and easily. We do in-depth WordPress Masterclass training days. Other occassional WordPress focused training. WordPress support and consultancy for WebClub members.
CTX expertise and support
Charity Technology Exchange (CTX) provides access to near-free software for charities. We run free Masterclasses or support groups 1:1 to register with CTX and take advantage of this offer.
IT Health Checks
Free to local groups in partnership with Virtual Riders. Helping groups understand their current IT and the way forward.
Equipment Hire
We host a range of laptops, netbooks, projectors and other equipment which member groups can access for free or for minimal hire costs.
Community Dashboards
This is a new, evolving project arising from reworking the North East Lincolnshire Community Directories into a series of Community empowering websites covering the borough. This is an evolving project for 2011/12 with its own blog here.
Public Law
We encourage groups to understand Public Law and how it can empower them. We deliver a programme of free, lighweight briefings introducing Public Law concepts.
Common Treasury
Common Treasury equipment is varied, has been sponsored and funded and is hosted in organisations throughout the borough – for the benefit of other community organisations. VANEL holds a little of this equipment, but mostly we administer the Common Treasury portfolio and manage the website detailing it.
The Compact
We support the local Compact by managing the Compact website which we built.
Support Services
The Hub built or maintains a number of websites for other VANEL initiatives or other support projects locally. We’ve re-built databases for Safer Homes. We provide web support for the NE LINk. We maintain websites for the Third Sector Working Groups such as Regen and CYPS. We provide event management support and IT support for the Fundraising Plus project. We maintain the VANEL main website, the website for members and an internal staff website.
